CHENEY, Wash. — The 2023 Fall Schedule came to a close for Eastern Washington women's golf and they made the most of the final round at the Eagle Invitational. The Eagles finished in fourth place with a total score of 897.
The team shot 299 in the third round, battling through the elements. Eastern finished ahead of five of the seven Big Sky schools competing in the tournament.
Sophomore Brooke Mahler earned a top-10 finish, tying for seventh (222) on the individual leaderboard. Mahler shot a 72 in round two and 73 today, and finished a tournament-best in Par 3 scores (-2).
Gabriella Ilardi put together another strong tournament, tying for 17th (225) and her second top-20 finish in three competitions. The true freshman closed with a 76 today and shot 74 in the second round.
Kami Twining tied for 20th with a 226 total score in the tournament. Twinning recorded a 72 in the second round.
Idaho won the tournament with a score of 872 while Weber State was second with a 877. The Vandals' Yvonne Vinceri won the individual title with a 209 score.

Up Next
The Eagle Invite concludes Eastern Washington's fall schedule and competition for the year. The team will be off until Feb. 11, 2024 when they play in the Zupas Trailblazer Invitational in St. George Utah.
