SPOKANE, Wash. — Eastern Washington women's golf stayed local and hosted the Kalispel Invitational at Kalispel Country Club. Eastern placed 11th, posting a final score of 909.
The Eagles closed strong with a 296 (+8) in the third round to move up one spot in the standings. The strong finish was led by Lexie Mahler who finished with a 71 (-1) and Berkley Ledesma who shot 72 (E).
Ledesma had an impressive tournament, shooting a first round of 72 (E) and placing her within the top 30. Her last round was very much the same, finishing 72 (E) again and propelling her up the leader board to finish in a tie for 28th.
Ella Follen continued her low rounds to start her collegiate career, shooting back-to-back rounds of 75 (+3) and finishing with a score of 78 (+6) in round thee. She tied for 41st individually.
Esha Reddy had another strong tournament posting scores of 77 (+5), 74 (+2), and 78 (+6). Reddy finished in a tie for 47th.
Boise State claimed the team title (861). Boise State had the solo title winner, Leia Chung, who shot a 212 (-4).

Eastern is back next week when the Eagles head to Montana to compete in the Sun Mountain Intercollegiate. The Sun Mountain Intercollegiate will take place at Missoula Country Club in Missoula, Mont., from September 28th (Monday) through September 29th (Tuesday).
