Muff named to VolleyballMag.com’s Coaches Hotshot list

Eastern’s assistant coach earns the honor after finishing her second season with the team

CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington volleyball assistant coach, Taylor Muff, was named to VolleyballMag.com's College Coaches Hot Shot lists. 

The list that VolleyballMag compiles intends to celebrate the talent depth across both men's and women's collegiate volleyball. This is the fifth consecutive year the publication has published the list. 

With Muff's guidance, Sage Brustad and Alyssa Radke earned All-Big Sky second team selections last year, with Brustad earning the award again this season. EWU qualified for the Big Sky tournament the past two seasons and won its first postseason contest since 2008 in November. The Eagles knocked off Muff's former team and defending champs, Northern Colorado in Greeley (3-2). 

Muff is a former all-Big Sky selection as an outside hitter at UNC, where she played for current Eastern Washington head coach, Jon Haruguchi. 

Serving as the Eagles' recruiting coordinator, Muff helped secure nine newcomers last season (five transfers, four freshmen) and has added three incoming recruits for the 2024 class.
