CHENEY, Wash. — The third round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge finished up on Tuesday afternoon. Eastern Washington women's golf finished in 16th with a total score of 921.
"This week was a great experience for the team. We struggled adjusting to elements we're not used to such as humidity and Bermuda grass," head coach
Brenda Howe said. "Those two elements really impacted our play and stamina. We're looking forward to being back on the west coast and competing on courses that provide a little more of what we're used to."
Kami Twining tied for 57th on the individual leaderboard, shooting 75 in round one and two. During the tournament, Twining had six birdies.
Meghan Singh ended up tied for 62nd, notching a 74 in the second round. Singh had seven birdies in Pawley's Island.
Brooke Mahler opened the tournament with a 73. Mahler had three birdies during the week.
UNC-Wilmington won the tournament with a score of 862.

Eastern takes a week off before its next competition. The Eagles will be in Saratoga Springs, Utah for the inaugural 54 for iX Tournament, hosted by the Big Sky Conference from Sept. 25-26.
