FARMINGTON, Utah — Saturday was a historic offensive performance for Eastern Washington football and redshirt-junior Kekoa Visperas was central to the effort. After scoring four touchdowns against Idaho State, Visperas earned his first career Big Sky Co-Offensive Player of the Week award, announced by the conference today.

The award was split between Visperas and Idaho wide receiver Mark Hamper.

Visperas helped direct the Eagle offense to the 77-42 victory over the Bengals. The Eatonville, Wash. native rushed for three touchdowns and had 47 yards on the ground.Visperas passed for 206 yards and one touchdown, going a perfect 14-of-14 on passing attempts. The perfect mark broke the EWU record for competition percentage (min. 10 attempts).

Against ISU, Eastern's offense moved the ball freeley, amassing 704 yards of total offense. The yardage total is the first time the Eagles recorded 700-plus yards since they went for 754 yards against Western Illinois (9/18/21). It was also the most yards since the team broke the program record with 837 yards against Idaho (10/16/21).

Visperas is completing 74.8 percent of passes this season, leading the Big Sky and ranking second in the FCS. He is sixth in the conference and 27th in the nation with 17 passing touchdowns, while ranking 11th with six rushing touchdowns.
