CHENEY, Wash. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced on Tuesday, December 10, that
Bri Gunderson has earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors, making her the first Eagle to receive such recognition since Janelle Ruen in 2002. This marks Gunderson's first career AVCA All-Region accolade.

Throughout the 2024 season, Gunderson proved to be a standout for the Eagles, leading the team in several key categories, including blocks (156), blocks per set (1.53), hitting percentage (.283), aces (37), and total points (415). She also ranked second on the team in kills with 289.
On the national stage, Gunderson's exceptional performance did not go unnoticed. She consistently ranked among the top five in the nation for blocks per set, even reaching as high as third for five consecutive weeks. She finished the regular season ranked fourth in the country in this category.
