CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington volleyball continues to build up its roster as head coach
Jon Haruguchi announced the addition of Anna Bolich. Bolich is a setter who transfers to Eastern from Feather River College, while originally hailing from Mission Viejo, Calif.
At Feather River, Bolich played for both the indoor and beach volleyball teams. She earned First Team All-Golden Valley Conference and all tournament team honors for the CCCAA Tournament. Bolich was integral to Feather River earning its 13th consecutive Golden Valley title, finishing undefeated in conference play. Feather River went on to place second in the state tournament the same season.
In her beach career, Bolich was named to the Big 8 All-Conference team, the All-NorCal Beach Team, along with being recognized on the AVCA Two-Year College Women's Beach Players to Watch list. Bolich helped the beach volleyball team win the Big 8 title and then a fifth-place finish at the state tournament. She would qualify for the individual pairs tournament, encompassing the top 32 pairs in the state of California.
For the 2023 season, Bolich averaged 0.5 aces and 1.72 digs per set, along with holding a .329 hitting percentage. She has 1414 career assists.
Bolich played at Mission Viejo High prior to going college, where she earned second team All-Sea View League honors. During her high school career, Bolich helped Mission Viejo make its first appearance in the state tournament.
Bolich intends to study Health Psychology at Eastern with a goal of becoming a sports psychologist at the collegiate and professional level.
