CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington faced a tough challenge on the road in Pocatello, falling to Idaho State in straight sets, 25–19, 25–11, 25–9. The Eagles showed early fight in the first set, keeping pace through the midway point before the Bengals pulled away late. Idaho State maintained control from there, using a strong defensive presence and efficient offense to limit Eastern's scoring opportunities in the second and third sets.
Quincy Moran led the way for EWU with nine kills, while
Kalista Lukovich added five. Defensively,
Olivia Burns collected 13 digs, and
Judith Bolomboy notched four blocks at the net. Despite flashes of energy and effort, the Eagles couldn't overcome Idaho State's momentum and consistency.
