SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Eastern Washington fell in three straight sets on the road at Sacramento State, unable to find a rhythm against a strong Hornets squad. The Eagles battled throughout but were outpaced in key moments, as Sacramento State controlled the net and maintained steady momentum from start to finish.
Eastern showed grit defensively, with strong efforts from the back line to extend rallies, but the Hornets' efficient offense and blocking presence proved difficult to overcome. Despite the setback, the Eagles will look to regroup and sharpen their offensive execution and serving consistency as they continue Big Sky play.
