MOSCOW, Idaho. — The Eastern Washington volleyball team battled hard on the road but came up short in a 3–1 loss to Idaho on Saturday night in Moscow. The Eagles dropped the match by scores of 23–25, 25–20, 23–25 and 19–25. After narrowly falling in the opening set, Eastern responded with a strong second frame, hitting efficiently and using a balanced attack to even the match at one set apiece. The third set proved pivotal, as Idaho edged out another close 25–23 win before pulling away in the fourth to close out the match.
"Another tough loss tonight," said head coach 
Jon Haruguchi. "We need to be better at executing our skills and adapting to the match as it progresses."
Kalista Lukovich led the Eagles with 15 kills and added 10 digs for a double-double performance. 
Quincey McCoy followed with 12 kills and a team-high six blocks, while 
Judith Bolomboy chipped in nine kills. Eastern had a strong night at the net, out-blocking Idaho 13–5, with 
Alyssa Radke and 
Bria Carlisle each recording five blocks. Setters 
Anna Bolich and 
Jailyn Davenport shared the playmaking duties, posting 22 and 19 assists respectively, while libero 
Elle Bruegman anchored the back row with 14 digs.

The Eagles will head back home to take on Idaho State on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m., then Weber State on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m.
