FARMINGTON, Utah — The Big Sky Conference announced its full 2026 football schedule on Monday, revealing Eastern Washington University's slate for next season. The Eagles will play nine conference games, including five matchups at Roos Field.

The 2026 season comes with notable conference changes, as Southern Utah rejoins the Big Sky and Utah Tech enters as a new member, while Sacramento State departs following the 2025–26 academic year.

Eastern Washington opens Big Sky play at home on Sept. 26 against Cal Poly before hosting Northern Colorado on Oct. 10, marking the Bears' second straight trip to Cheney. The Eagles then face an exciting mid-season stretch with Montana State (Oct. 17) and Montana (Oct. 31), separated by a bye week. EWU concludes its home schedule on Nov. 21 against Portland State, also hosting the Vikings for a second consecutive season.

On the road, Eastern opens the year at Northern Arizona on Aug. 29, followed by conference trips to UC Davis (Oct. 3), Idaho (Nov. 7), and Utah Tech (Nov. 14).

The Eagles' non-conference schedule features three games, beginning with a home matchup against Northern Iowa on Sept. 5, completing a home-and-home series with the Panthers. Eastern then travels to South Dakota on Sept. 12, before facing Washington on Sept. 19 in Seattle.

Eastern Washington continues its 2025 campaign this week, hosting Sacramento St. on Saturday, Nov. 1, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. Pacific Time at Roos Field.
