Ledesma places in the Top-10, Mahler sisters finish in the Top-30

Eastern Washington closes out their fall schedule strong in Missoula

MISSOULA, Mont. —  Eastern Washington women's golf traveled to Montana to begin Big Sky conference play. Eastern finished ahead of  Montana, finishing (+44) during the two-day competition, putting together impressive rounds each day. 

Berkley Ledesma finished tied for her best three-day total of the season at  221 (+5) and her second top ten finish, placing ninth. Ledesma strung together her best 36-hole total at 145, finishing in 1st after her first day 71 (-1). 

Brooke Mahler continued to play well, finishing just outside the Top-20 in a tie for 22nd and a score of 228 (+12). Brooke finished out the tournament with her best round of 73 (+1).

Lexie Mahler finished alongside her sister in a tie for 27th with a final score of 230 (+14). Lexie shot her best round of 75 (+3). 

Weber State earned the team title, shooting a (+16). The Wildcats' Braylyn Bayer (IND) claimed the solo title with a score of 214 (-2). She was followed closely by teammate Emily Song, who finished 217 (+1).

Up Next
Eastern has wrapped up its fall season and will be back in February to kick off its Spring season in San Jacinto, California, at the Soboba Spring Classic. The tournament will take place on February 4 (Wed) through February 6 (Fri).
