Eagle fans can help support the Christmas Bureau in Spokane

CHENEY, Wash. — The holiday season is here and that means the annual Teddy Bear Toss is back at Reese Court.

On Monday (Nov. 17), Eagle fans can bring stuffed animals and toss them onto the court at halftime of both the men's and women's basketball games. Fans can also purchase teddy bears at both games, with all collected stuffed animals being donated to The Christmas Bureau in  Spokane.

Women's basketball plays Cal Poly with a 5 p.m. tipoff, followed by Men's against Eastern Oregon tipping off at 7:30. Fans who purchase tickets to the women's game receive free entry for the men's game, but will have to move up to general admission seating. Tickets to the game can be purchased online through the link HERE.

The Christmas Bureau provides holiday assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the greater Spokane area. Along with teddy bears, the charity provides children 17 and younger with one toy and children 15 and under with an age-appropriate book. They also offer grocery vouchers for households.

In addition to the Teddy Bear Toss, there are multiple opportunities to make charitable donations at Reese Court.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is accepting toiletries donations during both games.

Athletics will have boxes for canned and non-perishable food donations that benefit the EWU Food Pantry.

Eagle fans can also bring new or unopened toys to donate to Toys for Tots with boxes located throughout Reese Court.

About The Christmas Bureau
