CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington men's and women's basketball teams host a doubleheader against Idaho on Saturday at Reese Court and there's extra incentive for students to come out and support the Eagles.
Thanks to a generous donor, two current EWU students will walk away with $1,000 each who attend Saturday's doubleheader.
CONTEST RULES: Only currently enrolled EWU students are eligible to win, and a student can only win one time during the 2024-25 academic year. EWU students will present their EWU ID upon entry through the student entrance of Reese Court (southeast door) at select games and will receive a raffle ticket. Entries will begin once doors open (one hour before tipoff) through the FIRST media break of each game, at which time entries will close for that game.
The drawing for the $1,000 winner will occur at the end of the third quarter for the women's game and at the 8 minute mark of the second half for the men's game.
The EWU student must be present at the time of the drawing to win. Payment will be made in the form of a check. Please note that if you are receiving financial aid, this award may affect your current or future aid package. The winner will be subject to taxes and other applicable fees on income.
