Football - Spring Game (Friday, May 1 at 5 p.m.) - Free Admission
Eastern Washington finishes its spring ball schedule this week with the Spring Game on Friday at 5 p.m. from Roos Field. The game will put the offense against the defense to showcase their progress through 15 practices this spring.

Eastern finishes its spring practice schedule in preparation for the 2026 season this fall. EWU returns 11 starters from last season, with seven on defense and four on offense. The Eagles' season begins on Aug. 29 against Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. The home opener for Eastern is on Sep. 5 against Northern Iowa. In 2025, EWU finished 4-4 in the Big Sky and 5-7 overall.

Men's Golf - at Big Sky Championships (Monday-Wednesday, April 27-29, All Day)
The Eagles are headed to Litchfield Park for the Big Sky Championships at Wigwam Golf Course, starting April 27, looking to carry some momentum into the three-day event.

Jason Bustos leads the group after a consistent finish in the last tournament +12 (75, 75, 75). Lucas Hughes bounced back after a tough start, closing with two 76s to finish +18, while Cal Anderson is aiming for more consistency after flashing solid rounds. Hogan Park is one to watch after improving each round (84, 82, 79), and Eli McNeely and Ethan Parker round out the lineup as the Eagles look to put together three strong days in Arizona.

Track and Field – at OSU High Performance Meet (Friday - Saturday, May 1 - May 2,  All Day), at Desert Heat Classic (Friday - Saturday, May 1 - May 2, All Day)
The Eagles will split their squad one final time to close out the regular season, with half the team heading to the OSU High Performance Meet in Corvallis, Ore., and the other half traveling to Tucson, Ariz., for the Desert Heat Classic.

Eastern Washington enters the weekend with strong momentum after another impressive showing across split meets at the Cougar Classic and Montana Open. The Eagles recorded a school record, multiple personal and season bests, and a host of top finishes, continuing to climb the all-time lists while strengthening their position within the conference.

At the Cougar Classic, Lexi Meyer led the way by breaking the school record in the 800m. On the men's side, Cort Gebbers moved up the program record book with a personal-best throw in the discus, while Logan Ashbeck claimed the javelin title with a season-best mark. Jason Nwaka added a runner-up finish in the shot put with a season best, backed by strong depth from the throws group, and Henry Nelson placed fourth in the 800m. The women added key performances as well, including a steeplechase victory from Sara Sanders, a third-place finish from Ifechi Okoye in the 400m, and a runner-up finish in the discus from Ashley Fuller. The mixed 4x400m relay team closed the meet with a first-place finish.

At the Montana Open, the jumps group delivered standout results, highlighted by Merci Migani's victory in the triple jump, which moved him into the program's all-time top six, along with a second-place finish in the long jump. Nic Cunningham added top-three finishes in both events. On the women's side, Azaria Purdy captured the triple jump title and climbed the all-time list, while Zoe Dunn, Manthita Wague, and Lenah Martin added valuable finishes. Kirsten Anderson placed third in the pole vault, and Gilana Wollman edged out the long jump field to lead another strong performance in the event.
