CHENEY, Wash. — The full picture of the 2025 Recruiting class has taken shape as Eastern Washington football finalized their new group of talent. Eastern signed 14 new Eagles for the February signing day, bringing the total to 38 new Eagles for the '25 class, after signing 21 in December.

Defense was an emphasis in the new signees, adding three linebackers, three cornerbacks, and three safeties, along with two defensive lineman. For the offense, the group adds two wide receivers and two lineman, with one quarterback, running back and tight end.
The class consists of seven high school prospects, with 11 transfers - four from junior colleges.
Home stats are spread out for the class, bringing five in from California and keeping four in-state from Washington, with two hailing from Idaho. The new Eagles also come from Alaska, Arizona, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee and Utah, with one signee each.

Tyras Blake | LB | 6-4 | 210 | Post Falls HS | Post Falls, Idaho
Tyras was a key element to Post Falls defense during his career, totaling 46 tackles with 25 solo between his sophomore and junior seasons. He added four pass deflections in his career playing in the free safety and outside linebacker positions.
This past fall, Tyras was named to the 6A-5A All-North Idaho team as the top defensive back in his region. He earned All-North Idaho team, as well, for the 2023 season.
Along with football, Tyras suited up for the Post Falls basketball team as a shooting guard and power forward.
Drew Carlson | WR | Fresno State/Olympia HS | Olympia, Wash.
Drew transfers in from Fresno State after he spent his freshman season with the Bulldogs. He appeared in Fresno's bowl game against NIU and was redshirted.
Prior to Fresno, Drew played at Olympia High School and was a four-year letter winner. Drew amassed 1000 all-purpose yards his senior season, scoring 10 touchdowns - five passing, three receiving and two rushing. He earned first team all-league honors. During his junior season (2023), Drew caught 88 passes for 1010 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Drew also contributed on defense as a defensive back, with 80 career tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery.
A true multi-sport athlete, Drew excelled at basketball and soccer at Olympia, earning first all-league honors in both sports.
Amir Dendy | RB | 6-1 | 205 | East Tennessee State/Pendleton/Santa Barbara City/Westside City | Anderson S.C.
At East Tennessee State, Amir appeared in eight games for the Bucs, with 183 yards on 54 carries. He had 66 kickoff return yards in 2023 as well.
Amir carried the load in high school, rushing for 3188 yards and scoring 28 touchdowns. He earned 4A Region 1 Player of the Year his senior season (2021) at Westside HS, rushing for 14 touchdowns and 875 yards, adding 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His effort helped Westside appear in the 4A State Championship. Amir earned 4A All-State and All-Region honors in '21. At Pendleton HS, he helped the team to the 3A region championships in 2018 and 2019, earning All-Region honors both years. He had 596 total career receiving yards and 1307 kickoff return yards.
Amir was listed as a two-star prospect by 247Sports.com out of high school. He also competed in track and field.
Fletcher Gibson | OL | 6-2 | 290 | Carson-Newman | Kingsport, Tenn.
Fletcher transfers to EWU after spending the past three seasons at Carson-Newman University. At Carson-Newman, Fletcher appeared in 23 games, making nine starts in 2023. The offensive line for Carson-Newman allowed the second-fewest sacks in the South Atlantic Conference.
Fletcher graduated from West Ridge High School in Kingsport, Tenn. before his collegiate career. While at West Ridge, Fletcher accounted for 35 pancake blocks and did not allow a sack in 121 snaps during his senior season. Fletcher was an All-Conference and All-State honoree for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. For the '21 season, Fletcher was named 6A District I Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Adding to his athletic ability, Fletcher competed for the track and field team at West Ridge.
Dre Greeley | CB | 5-11 | 191 | CCSF/De Anza CC | Monroe, La.
Drew brings a wealth of collegiate experience to the Eagles. In 2024, Drew played for De Anza College in Cupertino, Calif. He made six interceptions and returned one for a touchdown to lead the PAC-7 League. Drew added 29 total tackles, making 23 solo and adding two fumble recoveries. With Drew's stand-out season, De Anza went 7-0 and fielded California's No. 1-ranked defense.
Previously, Drew played 12 games at City College of San Francisco for the 2021 season, making 10 interceptions and returning two for touchdowns. Drew recorded 22 tackles - 19 solo - and had one fumble recovery that season. The stats led Drew to being named a CCCAA first team All-American and he helped CCSF win the junior college national championship. The team had a perfect 13-0 record.
After playing at CCSF, Drew had stops at Colorado State in 2022 and Buffalo in 2023. He redshirted in the seasons with the Rams and Bulls respectively. Drew attended Bullard High School in Monroe, La.
Tyler Lepolo | LB | 6-0 | 225 | Temple | Oakley, Calif.
Tyler spent the 2024 season at Temple University and appeared in four games, recording one tackle.
Before transferring to Temple, Tyler played two seasons at City College of San Francisco. He earned two first team Bay 6 Conference selections. Tyler played at Freedom High School prior to his collegiate career. In the 2019 season, Tyler racked up 108 total tackles with 57 solo.

Bryce Lucas | CB | 5-10 | 185 | Western Colorado University | Temecula, Calif.
Bryce spent the last five years at Western Colorado University, appearing in 38 games for the Mountaineers. He had 87 career tackles, with 63 solo. He intercepted one pass and recovered one fumble, adding 25 deflected passes. In the 2023 season, Tyler was named to the RMAC first team, recording 18 tackles and 12 pass breakups, along with the interception. He earned an honorable mention for the 2024 season, finishing with 35 tackles -26 solo - and two pass breakups.
Prior to attending Western Colorado, Bryce played at Great Oak High School. At Great Oak, Bryce recorded 55 total tackles, with 39 solo. He also competed for the track and field team.
Gavin O'Leary | SAF | 6-1 | 205 | Laney JC | Oakland, Calif.
Gavin played the 2024 season at Laney JC, earning JUCO All-American and All-State honors. At Laney, Gavin tallied 75 total tackles, with 50 solo, averaging 7.5 per game. He added 2.0 sacks, one interception and three fumble recoveries.
Gavin played his high school career at Pleasant Hill HS. In his career, Gavin had 62 tackles, with three sacks and nine pass breakups. He was productive on offense with 1674 receiving yards and 906 rushing yards, adding 415 passing yards his senior year. Gavin had 33 total touchdowns at Pleasant Hill.

Jeremiah Polk | CB | 6-1 | Yuma Catholic | Yuma, Ariz.
Jeremiah made the most of his senior year in 2024, tallying 43 tackles - four for loss - one forced fumble and one interception, along with seven pass deflections. In 2023, Jeremiah posted 32 tackles with 21 solo for Yuma Catholic. He had three interceptions, two fumbles recovered and four pass deflections. Jeremiah had five interceptions and 15 pass deflections, along with 78 tackles for his high school career.

Elijah Riley | DE | 6-3 | 230 | Centennial HS | Corona, Calif.
In his career at Centennial, Elijah provided key support on defense, tallying 67 total tackles and 45 solo, with 16.0 for a loss. He had 3.0 sacks and 14 quarterback hurries, while forcing two fumbles. He returned one of the fumbles for a touchdown during his senior season (2024).
Elijah earned a three-star rating from 247Sports.com. He was also recruited by Arizona, Arizona State, San Diego State and UNLV. He was invited to participate in the National Combine Invite, put on by the All-American Bowl and 347Sports.
Will Roberts | TE | 6-6 | 230 | Santa Barbara | San Anselmo, Calif.
Will appeared in eight games for Santa Barbara this past season, with seven catches for 95 yards, scoring two touchdowns. For the 2023 season, Will played for Laney Junior College.
Will attended Archie Williams High School in San Anselmo, Calif.
Kaden Rolfsness | QB | 6-3 | 205 | Puyallup HS | Puyallup, Wash.
Kaden brings experience to the Eastern QB room, playing in 22 games at Puyallup High School. He threw for 1147 yards with 13 touchdowns passes and a 56.2 completion percentage. Kaden was also a dual threat quarterback, rushing for 449 yards and scoring six touchdowns on 86 career carries. Along with the offense, Kaden contributed on defense, recording 10 total tackles.

Bryce Smith | SAF | 6-1 | 175 | Bellevue HS | Bellevue Wash.
While at Bellevue, Bryce racked up 35 solo tackles and 50 total. He had 5.0 for a loss, adding one sack. Bryce grabbed two interceptions during his sophomore season (2022). Working as an all-around player, Bryce scored three rushing touchdowns in 2023, finishing with 161 yards on 15 carries. He added three catches for 56 yards and two touchdowns as well. Contributing on special teams, Bryce accounted for 183 kickoff return yards in 2023.
Rounding out his athletic ability, Bryce was a stand-out on the basketball court for Bellevue High School.
Nationally, Bryce is listed as a three-star prospect on 247Sports.com. He was also recruited by Colorado State, Arizona, Boise State and Nevada.
Read Sunn | LB | 6-2 | 230 | Wyoming | Wasilla, Ak.
Read flips from the Cowboys to the Eagles after four seasons in Cheyenne. At Wyoming, Read appeared in 42 games, making 14 total tackles - seven solo - and one forced fumble. He made one start against Air Force in the 2022 season. During his freshman season (2020), Read worked as the team's long snapper in six-games. He earned All-Mountain West academic honors for the '22 season.
Read played his high school career at Christ School in Wasilla, Alaska
Kyson Thomas | WR | Washington State/Moses Lake HS | Moses Lake, Wash.
Kyson moves from Pullman up to Cheney after one season at Washington State. The Moses Lake, Wash. native redshirted last season and did not appear in a game.
At Moses Lake High School, Kyson earned 4A Columbia Basin Big Nine League MVP and first team All-Big Nine his senior season at wide receiver, cornerback and returner. He finished with 69 catches for 1068 yards and 23 touchdowns. Kyson finished his high school career with 1788 yards, 26 touchdowns and 123 catches, averaging 14.5 yards per catch and 89.4 yards per game. On defense, Kyson had 99 total tackles, with 36 solo. He had three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, two passes defended and one blocked field goal. Kyson had two defensive touchdowns, one on an interception and one on a fumble recovery. On special teams, Kyson accounted for 500 career kickoff return yards and 225 yards on punt returns. He returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and one punt.

Jaxsen Tuia | OL | 6-3 | 270 | Snow College | Pocatello, Idaho
Jaxsen will be a key addition for Eastern on the offensive line after transferring from Snow College (Ephraim, UT). He spent one season at Snow College and appeared in three games for the Badgers.
Prior to college, Jaxsen played at Century High School in Pocatello, Idaho. Along with playing on the offensive line, Jaxsen contributed on the defensive side, recording 30 solo tackles, with 8.0 for a loss. He had three sacks on one fumble recovery.
