EUGENE, Ore. – Eastern Washington's track and field team had a busy weekend, splitting their efforts between the Buc Scoring Meet hosted by Whitworth and the Oregon Preview hosted by the University of Oregon.
"Rain, rain, and more rain—welcome to Spring in the PNW!" said
Erin Tucker, Director of Track and Field / Cross Country. "We battled some chilly, rainy conditions over the past two days. The one group we knew would thrive in these conditions was the 5k team. We had six PRs tonight. Great job to Sam for getting his group to take advantage of these optimal conditions. Let's see what tomorrow has in store for this battle-tested Eastern Washington team."
