FARMINGTON, Utah — For the first time in her Eastern Washington career,
Gabriella Ilardi earns postseason awards from the conference. Ilardi was named an All-Big Sky Honorable mention, announced by the conference today.
The Ripon, Calif. native has constantly played well through the fall and spring seasons for the Eagles.
During the spring season, Ilardi has averaged a 226.4 a in five competitions. She has recorded three rounds under par, shooting a 70 in the opening round of the Soboba Classic (Feb. 7-9). Ilardi. She placed 11th at the Classic in San Jacinto, Calif, shooting 223 (+7).
At the Cowgirl Classic (April 2-3) two weeks ago, Ilardi shot a 71 in round one, with no bogeys on her scorecard.
Ilardi closed out the regular season last week with a 12th place finish at the Bobcat Classic (April 7-9), finishing with a 219 (+3) score.
Through the fall 2024 schedule, Ilardi posted two top-10 finishes, getting third at the Portland State Fall Invitational (Oct. 14-15) shooting 215 (-1). The sophomore tied for ninth with teammate Kami Twining at the Tri State Invite (Oct. 6-7), recording a 150 (+6).
Sacramento State swept the individual awards in the conference, with the Hornets' Sneha Sharan earning Player of the Year and Darla May Dela Torre earning Freshman of the Year.
Ilardi and the rest of the Eagles are in Litchfield Park, Ariz. for the Big Sky Championships, beginning tomorrow (April 14) and concluding on Wednesday (April 16). Eastern will play one round each day from the Wigwam Golf Course.
