Ledesma Posts Top-10 finish as Eagles round out SoCal Spring Invitational

Eastern Washington traveled to Camarillo for their second tournament of the year

CAMARILLO, Calif. —  Eastern Washington women's golf made the trip to Southern California from Sunday to Tuesday for the SoCal Spring Invitational, played at Sterling Hills Golf Club. The Eagles placed 13th on the leaderboard (932), led by a standout performance from Berkley Ledesma

Ledesma placed seventh overall with an opening round of 74 (+3), and back-to-back rounds of 72 (+1) for a 54-hole total of 218 (+5), a career 54-hole score low for Ledesma.

Lexie Mahler finished the tournament with a solid 75 in round three and had a 74 in the opening round.

Nebraska took home the win with an overall team score of +10 (862) to claim the title. Nebraska was led by Lauren Thiele who shot 212 (-1) to finish 2nd individually

Up Next
The Eagles travel to Nashville, Tennessee, to play at Hermitage President's Reserve Golf Course in the Nashville Invitational, hosted by Lipscomb University. The tournament runs Monday, March 23rd through Tuesday, March 24th.
