2013: Listed as a backup at field cornerback onthe preseason depth chart.

2012: Finished his junior season with 18tackles, including a career-high three in the FCS Playoffs versusIllinois State (12/8/12) when he also broke up a pass. He had apair of tackles on four other occasions, including Portland State(11/17/12) when he also broke up a pass. Was a special teamsstandout, and earned team special teams player of the week honorsagainst Idaho (8/30/12) and Wagner (12/1/12).

2011: Schuetzle saw significant action onspecial teams, and finished the year with 11 tackles. He had threeagainst Cal Poly (11/12/11) in EWU’s 53-51 triple-overtimevictory. In Eastern’s 45-14 victory over Idaho State(11/19/11), Schuetzle recovered a muffed kickoff return that led toa field goal and helped EWU take the lead for good at17-14.

2010: Played in 14 games on special teams andas a backup cornerback. He had a pair of tackles versus NorthernArizona (10/9/10), as well as versus North Dakota State (12/11/10)in the quarterfinal round of the FCS Playoffs. He also recovered afumble in the fourth quarter of a first-round playoff game versusSoutheast Missouri State (12/4/10), leading to the final touchdownof the day in EWU’s 37-17 win. He was EWU’s specialteams player of the week against SEMO.

2009: Redshirted.

HS: Graduated from Shadle Park HS in 2009.Named by the Seattle Times as a “White Chip”selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state ofWashington. Schuetzle was a second team All-Greater Spokane Leagueselection as both a wide receiver and defensive back for Shadle andwas a three-sport standout for the Highlanders. He also earned teamcaptain and MVP awards as Shadle Park won three games in both hisjunior and senior seasons. He also was an All-Greater SpokaneLeague performer and state participant in track and fieldand wrestling.
