2012: Listed as a backup at quarterback onpreseason depth chart. He will also be the backup holder for JeffMinnerly on extra points and field goals. The Eagles used just twoquarterbacks in the spring, and both had nearly identicalstatistics throwing the ball in EWU’s four scrimmages. Adamswas 47-of-69 (68 percent) for 500 yards, no interceptions and threescores, and had a rating of 143.3. He also scrambled his way for 73rushing yards to finish the spring as the team’s leadingrusher. Junior-to-be Anthony Vitto completed 40-of-70 passes (57percent) for 506 yards, three interceptions and six touchdowns, andhad a passing efficiency rating of 137.6.
2011: Redshirted. Was selected asEastern’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year. Wasselected as the team’s offensive scout team player of theweek once.
HS: Graduated from Alemany HS in 2011. In hisfinal two seasons, he passed for 5,234 yards and 49 touchdowns, andrushed for another 1,263 yards and 19 more scores in leadingAlemany to an overall record of 22-5. As a senior, he was selectedthe Serra League Most Valuable Player after leading the Warriors tothe league title in 2010. He earned first team all-leaguehonors for the second-straight season. Alemany won its first 12games before losing its final game of the season, 28-21, againsteventual champion Servite in the semifinals of the CIF SouthernSection Pac-5 Playoffs. He passed for 2,901 yards with 27touchdowns and nine interceptions, and had 896 yards rushing with14 touchdowns. As a junior, he passed for 2,333 yards and 22touchdowns, and also rushed for 367 yards and five scores. He ledAlemany to a 10-4 record.
