2013: Listed as a reserve at tight end on thepreseason depth chart. Moved to tight end from the defensive linein the spring.

2012: Played sparingly as a non-lettering squadmember. Was selected as the team’s defensive scout teamplayer of the week once.

2011: Played sparingly as a non-lettering squadmember. Was credited with one tackle, that coming in EWU’sfinal game of the season versus Idaho State(11/19/11).

2010: Redshirted.

HS: Graduated from Mountain View HS in 2010.Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-State Game. Named bythe Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selectionas one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. Chapmanwas a 2009 4A Greater St. Helen’s League Coaches All-Leaguefirst team selection at defensive end and a second team pick as atight end. Earned All-Area accolades as a defensive lineman fromthe Columbian. He was also selected as a GSHL All LevelAll-Star (includes players from all 18 GSHL schools at the 4A, 3Aand 2A classifications) by gshlfootball.com. His team selected himas a co-captain and co-lineman of the year. He finished his seniorseason with 65 tackles and four sacks on defense, and he had 16receptions for 160 yards on offense. Also played basketball atMountain View and helped his team advance to the State 4ATournament in his sophomore season. He attended the same highschool as former Eagle Michael Roos (’00 graduate of MountainView), who is now an All-Pro offensive tackle for the TennesseeTitans.
