2013: Listed as a backup at defensive end onthe preseason depth chart, but should be in the regular rotation ofdefensive linemen. He had four tackles with a sack in the Red-WhiteSpring Game.
2012: Finished the season with 13 tackles, withnine of them coming in two games. He ended the season with fivetackles and a sack and forced fumble versus Sam Houston State(12/15/12) in the FCS Playoffs. He had four tackles against CalPoly (11/3/12) and a half-sack one game later versus UC Davis(11/10/12). Moved from linebacker to the defensive line in thespring.
2011: Played sparingly but earned his firstcollegiate letter. Was selected as Eastern’s Defensive ScoutTeam Player of the Year. Was selected as the team’s defensivescout team player of the week three times.
2010: Was a non-lettering squad member. Wasselected as the team’s defensive scout team player of theweek twice. Did not take part in spring practices because of a kneeinjury.
2009: Redshirted. Was selected as theteam’s defensive scout team player of the weekonce.
HS: Graduated from East Valley HS in 2009.Helped the Knights to a 6-4 record and the State 3A Playoffs as asenior. Current Eagle Trevor Moles (’10) and former EagleTyler Jolley (’06) also attended East Valley and played forhead coach Adam Fisher, who graduated from Eastern after a backinjury kept him from punting for the Eagles. Adam Fisher’sfather, Ed, was an assistant coach at East Valley and is a memberof the Eastern Athletics Hall of Fame after playing at Eastern inthe mid-60’s.
