2019: He was named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. He played in 10 of EWU’s 12 games, making his season debut at Washington (8/31/19). Six of his 14 tackles for the season came against Northern Colorado (10/12/19) when he was EWU’s special teams player of the week for a blocked punt that led to an EWU field goal in the 54-21 win. Patterson had five stops two games later versus Northern Arizona (11/2/19).
 
2018: Redshirted, but played in one game in accordance with a new NCAA rule that allows student-athletes to play in up to four games and still redshirt.
 
HS: Graduated from Junipero Serra HS in 2018. Earned first team All-Mission League honors as a senior linebacker. He had 74 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions returned for touchdowns and a fumble recovery in 2017. Earned a Scholar-Athlete Award in the 2017-18 school year, and was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.
 
Personal: Finance major with a 3.62 grade point average through winter quarter 2021. Born 5/26/00 in Los Angeles. Parents are Antonio and Tanya Patterson.
