2019: Listed as a starter at kicker on the preseason depth chart
. In EWU’s three scrimmages in the spring, including the Red-White Game, Slyter converted on 2-of-4 field goal attempts, and also made all seven of his extra point attempts.
2018: Was named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. He handled kickoffs the entire season, finishing with a 58.4 average on 114 kicks with 46 touchbacks. He also made 4-of-7 extra points versus Portland State (11/16/18) as an injury replacement for Roldan Alcobendas.
2017: Was a non-lettering squad member. He played against Sacramento State (9/30/17) and had two kickoffs for a 65.0 average with one touchback.
2016: Redshirted.
HS: Graduated from Kentwood HS in 2016. Earned all-league honors twice in football, with 33 of his 46 kickoffs resulting in touchbacks. He also played soccer three seasons, with Kentwood finishing fourth in the State 4A Championships his sophomore season. His Eagle teammates Terence Grady (’14), Brandyn Bangsund (’14) and Trenton Harris (’16) also attended Kentwood. Former Eagle wide receiver Aaron Boyce also attended Kentwood, as well as former EWU basketball player and NBA standout Rodney Stuckey.
Personal: Majoring in marketing at Eastern and has a 3.61 grade point average thus far at EWU. Born 7/16/97 in Renton, Wash. Parents are Kenneth and Wema Slyter.
