2013: Listed as a backup nose tackle on the preseason depth chart. Moved to the defensive line from the offensive line in the spring.

2012: Played sparingly as a non-lettering squad member.

2011: Redshirted.

HS: Graduated from Central Valley HS in 2011. Selected to play in the 4A/3A East-West All-State Game, which took place July 1, 2011, on EWU’s red Sprinturf surface at Roos Field. He helped lead his East squad to a 19-0 victory over the West. He earned first team All-Greater Spokane League honors as both a junior and senior, and was a second team selection as a sophomore. He was a three-year starter at left offensive guard and also started as a defensive tackle as a senior. He helped lead CV to the State 4A Playoffs, and even played tight end in a playoff game versus Chiawana. His Eagle teammates J.C. Agen (’09), Jake Miller (’10) and Gaven Deyarmin (’12) also attended Central Valley. They were coached at Central Valley by Rick Giampietri, a 1970 graduate of Eastern and letterman for the football team in 1968 and 1969.
