2010: Listed as a backup at right defensive endon EWU’s preseason depth chart. Did not participate in springpractices because of a collarbone injury.

2009: Redshirted. Was selected as theteam’s defensive scout team player of the year after earningplayer of the week honors three times.

HS: Graduated from Othello HS in 2009. Selectedto play in the 2A/1A/2B/1B All-State Game. He earned first team 2AAll-State honors from Associated Press as a defensive lineman. Hehad 16 sacks, 15 other tackles for loss and broke-up 16 passes togo along with five forced fumbles. He earned All-Central WashingtonAthletic Conference honors as a junior and senior, includingDefensive MVP honors in 2008. He helped lead Othello to a 10-2record, falling 33-28 to eventual State 2A runner-up Prosser in thequarterfinals of the playoffs. Othello defeated Colville 28-21 inthe first round.
