2019: He played in EWU’s last eight games of the season and started them all. Moore closed the year with 27 tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles and three quarterback hurries. He made the first start of his Eastern career against North Dakota (9/28/19), finishing with four tackles. Included was a forced fumble on a sack for a loss of nine yards, and another tackle for loss of three yards. Moore had a season-high five tackles versus both Northern Arizona (11/2/19) and Portland State (11/23/19). He was the team’s defensive player of the week against Northern Colorado (10/12/19) when he had a pair of tackles.
2018: He played in 10 games and finished with 15 tackles on the season with four sacks. Moore had four sacks and 18 total stops during EWU’s seven-game winning streak from Oct. 27 to Dec. 15. He had a career-high five tackles with sack versus Nicholls (12/1/18) in the FCS Playoffs. Two games later he had a pair of sacks versus Maine (12/15/18) in the semifinals. He also had four tackles versus Portland State (11/16/18) and had his other sack against Northern Colorado (11/3/18).
2017: Played in all 11 games as a backup defensive tackle, finishing his redshirt freshman season with seven tackles. Moore had a pair of tackles against both Montana State (10/14/17) and Texas Tech (9/2/17). He had seven tackles with a sack in three spring scrimmages.
2016: Redshirted. Following the end of the season, he was selected as the EWU co-Scout Team Player of the year for defense along with teammate Calin Criner. Was selected as the team’s defensive scout team player of the week twice.
HS: Graduated from Olympic HS in 2016. As a senior in 2015, Moore was selected to
The Associated Press 2A All-State first-team as both an offensive lineman and defensive lineman, and earned first-team All-Olympic League honors at both positions as well. He was named by the
Seattle Times as a “White Chip” selection as one of the top 100 prospects in the state of Washington. The
Kitsap Sun selected him to its All-West Sound squad as a defensive lineman. He started at right guard on an offense that averaged 35 points and 331 yards per game. On defense as both a tackle and end, he finished with 48 tackles and four sacks, with a total of eight tackles for loss. He helped Olympic finish 10-1 and win the Olympic League 2A championship. The Trojans beat Steilacoom in the State 2A Playoffs before falling to Sedro-Woolley. As a junior, he earned first-team All-Olympic League honors as an offensive lineman and was an All-West Sound selection by the
Kitsap Sun, also on offense. On defense, he had 44 tackles with five sacks, 14 quarterback hurries and a total of eight tackles for loss. He helped Olympic finish 7-4 and 5-1 in the 2A Olympic League. He spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Bremerton High School before transferring to Olympic. He began playing football in the eighth grade. He selected EWU over Portland State and Texas-El Paso, and also received recruiting interest from Washington State and Montana State. He also competed in basketball and track and field in high school.
