  • Redshirted. Did not appear in any games.
2021 (Freshman)
  • Played in all 13 games for the Eagles, totaling 11 tackles and one sack.
  • Had a season-high of four tackles against Central Washington (9/11/21), matching that same total against Northern Colorado (10/9/21).
  • Against Idaho (10/16/21), Gaines recorded his first career sack.
