Karson Brown joined Eastern Washington football as an offensive quality control assistant in February of 2026.
Brown comes to EWU after coaching at Eastern Oregon University, where he most recently served as the offensive line coach following his time as a graduate assistant. In that role, he directed all aspects of the offensive line unit, including organizing position meetings, implementing drill work, and developing a comprehensive offensive line handbook to improve technique and consistency. He also contributed to special teams operations, working with the PAT/field goal unit.
In addition to his on-field coaching duties, Brown was actively involved in recruiting, managing territories that included Central Oregon, Western Washington, and California junior colleges. He utilized Front Rush recruiting software to evaluate and organize prospective student-athletes and assisted in coordinating multiple football camps.
Brown began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Eastern Oregon, where he assisted with offensive line development, recruiting operations, and overall program logistics, including equipment and team operations.
A former student-athlete at Eastern Oregon University, Brown was a multi-year starter on the offensive line and served as a team captain during the 2023 season. He helped lead the Mountaineers to a Frontier Conference Co-Championship in 2021.
Brown earned his Master of Business Administration from Eastern Oregon with a 3.9 GPA after completing his Bachelor of Business Administration
