HS: Graduated in 2019 from Narbonne HS. Was a three-star recruit by 247Sports. Edwards finished his senior season with 25 tackles, an interception, seven passes broken up and a fumble recovery. He had seven tackles and broke-up three passes in a 27-26 win over Serra, and his interception came versus Hawaii powerhouse St. Louis. After winning the Marine League title with a perfect 4-0 record, Edwards helped lead Narbonne to a 10-4 overall record and the CIF Los Angeles City Section Championship with a 55-7 win over Garfield in the title game. The Gauchos scored over 50 points in every playoff game and held each opponent to under 25 points. Narbonne went on to lose 24-21 to Cathedral Catholic in the semifinals of the CIF Division 1-AA Playoffs. In his junior season, Narbonne was 5-0 in the Marine League and finished 12-3 overall. The Gauchos won the CIFLACS championship with a 48-7 win over Crenshaw in the title game. They went on to beat Paraclete (56-14) and Pitsburg (28-21) to capture the CIF Division I-A title.
