Senior Katrina Domingo's match goes to three sets before falling in a tiebreaker

"This Eagles team has that and they really brought it today. We had a great week of practice and the support and energy was excellent on the court today."

Senior Katrina Domingo went in a back-and-forth battle with Oregon's Janvhi Clark. Domingo won the first set 6-4, but lost the second set, 6-3. The match was decided by a tiebreaker and the difference was only two points (10-8). Domingo's match was the closest match for an Eagle.

Junior Rachel Swindell's match also endured a tiebreaker in the second set. Swindell fell to Julia Eshet in the first set, 6-1 but preserved in the second set to take it to 7-6 with five points from Eshet to win the match.

Finishing off singles competition, sophomore Faye Worrall and senior Carolina Lopez both fell to their opponents 6-1, 6-0 with senior Erin Blessing falling 6-3, 6-1 and freshman Marta Heinen falling 6-1 in both sets.
