PULLMAN, Wash.—The Eastern Washington women's tennis team started their 2019 spring schedule off by competing against Washington State University in Pullman, Wash. today but fell 7-0.
"We played a very tough, smart team today and credit to them for playing well,"Â said head coach Dustin Hinson. "We had a few first match jitters to get through but once we settled down, I saw a lot of things to build on. I thought we played with heart and stayed motivated throughout the matches. It's nice that we have a couple of weeks to work on our matchplay before our next matches in Seattle, Wash. We will definitely benefit from some practice on our home courts," said Hinson.
