CHENEY, Wash.-- The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team faced off against the Montana State Bobcats today (Feb. 8) to a victory of 5-2 in their first Big Sky Conference match of
the 2019 season. After today's win over MSU, EWU moves to an overall record of 3-2.
"It's a good feeling to get the win in our first conference match of the season. It was a tough match and we faced a team who fought for everything they could get," said head coach
Dustin Hinson. "We battled through adversity and did what we needed to do to get the team win. We are happy with the win but not satisfied. We have much more to achieve and we will always reach higher. We will get back out on the practice courts to seek growth in some areas before we face Gonzaga and Wyoming next weekend."
