PORTLAND, Ore.-- The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team competed against Big Sky Conference opponent, Portland State today (March 17) in Portland, Ore., to a victory of 6-1. After today's win the Eagles now sit at an overall record of 7-7 and 4-1 in Big Sky play.
"Today's match was a really tough conference battle but we expected that going in," said head coach
Dustin Hinson. "We responded well to some really tough moments and we were able to focus and trust our game plan. Our mental focus was really good, which allowed us to stay calm in those close moments. I'm proud of the team for their resilience and their willingness to trust the process."
