Box Score LOS ANGELES, Calif.-- The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team competed against CSUN today (March 26) to a loss of 7-0. After today's match, the Eagles now have an overall record of 8-8 and 4-1 in Big Sky Conference play.
"This was a really close match even though the results don't immediately indicate that," said head coach
Dustin Hinson. "We faced a tough team who knew how to make a lot of balls. We battled back really tough in singles and took three matches to the deciding set. I thought we did a nice job of fighting even though our execution wasn't where we wanted it to be. We stayed in matches out of shear will and determination. We will use this tough loss to motivate us and we can learn a lot tactically from these types of matches. We look to finish out the conference season strong over the next month."
