SEATTLE, Wash. – The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team opened up the 2020 season victorious over Seattle University today (Jan. 10). The Eagles traveled to compete against the Redhawks and they picked up a 5-2 at the Amy Yee Tennis Center to start the season 1-0.
"We had a great start to our season today. I was really happy with the way the team stayed calm and relaxed during some tough moments in all of the matches," said head coach
Dustin Hinson. "We were able to regroup and respond well after Seattle started strong and we brought a lot of positive energy and support to the court today as well, which is one of the big strengths of our team. We look forward to a good practice tomorrow in preparation for Washington on Sunday."
