CHENEY, Wash. – The Eastern Washington University women's basketball team will be making the short trip to Moscow, Idaho, to take on the Idaho Vandals this Thursday (Jan. 16) at 5:30 p.m. Pacific time. The Eagle and Vandal men will follow at approximately 7:30 p.m.

A LOOK AT THE EAGLES: The Eagles are coming off of a loss to Montana last week and will look to snap a three-game losing streak on Thursday. Eastern Washington currently sits at 2-11 overall and 1-3 in conference action.
Grace Kirscher currently leads the Eagles with 10.2 points per game and has a pair of 20-plus point performances so far this season.
Bella Cravens follows with 8.8 points per game and is tied for the conference lead in rebounds with 8.6 boards per contest, which is also 86
th nationally. The sophomore also ranks inside the top-100 in Division I with blocks per game with 1.64.
Jenna Dick leads the conference and ranks 68
th nationally in three-point field-goal percentage, knocking down 39.4 percent of her shots. She is 26-for-66 behind the arc this year and has made at least two three-pointers in seven games this year, including five games with over three.
Jessica McDowell-White is third on the team with 8.4 points per game. She ranks 88
th in the nation with 4.4 assists per game which is also third in the Big Sky.
As a team, the Eagles knock down 7.8 three-pointers per game which is 50
th nationally. They have made at least four in every game this season, including five with 10 or more and 11 with five or more.
A LOOK AT THE VANDALS: Idaho is currently in second place in the Big Sky Conference standings with an 8-5 overall record and a 3-1 mark in league play. The Vandals won their first two conference matches before falling to Portland State on the road. Most recently, Idaho picked up a 69-68 double-overtime win over Montana State in Bozeman.
The Vandals have three players who average double figures in Gina Marxen (14.0), Beyonce Bea (13.3) and Lizzy Klinker (10.5). Both Marxen's and Bea's averages rank in the top-ten in the conference.
Idaho ranks second in the conference with 8.1 three-pointers per game, just edging the Eagles. They average 62.5 points per game while keeping their opponents to just 59.5 points per game to lead the Big Sky.
SERIES HISTORY: Eastern Washington looks to snap a three-game losing streak to the Vandals when they visit Moscow on Thursday. The Eagles have won just four out of the last 10 matchups and trail the all-time series, 32-37. In Moscow, the Eagles are 9-21.
A win would mark the first victory for the Eagles over UI since Jan. 12, 2018. Eastern Washington has not beat the Vandals on the road since Feb. 27, 2016.
Last season, the Eagles fell to the Vandals 84-68 in Moscow and dropped a heartbreaker on a last-second three-pointer at home on Feb. 18 by a score of 75-74.
The Vandals make the return trip to Cheney on Thursday, Feb. 13 for a doubleheader with EWU men's team. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. at Reese Court with the Eagle and Vandal men to follow at approximately 7:45 p.m.
