CHENEY, Wash. – Eastern Washington University head women's tennis coach,
Dustin Hinson, has announced the addition of new signee,
Isabella Foshee, today (Dec. 18). Foshee enters Eagle nation from San Diego, Calif., where she currently attends The Grauer School.
"I'm really excited to welcome Isabella to our Eagle tennis family. I am so impressed with her work ethic both in the classroom and on the tennis court. She has earned this opportunity to compete at the highest level in college tennis," said Hinson. "She has amazing leadership qualities that were apparent from our first conversation and I believe she will make an immediate impact to our team on and off the court."
Foshee brings national level experience to Cheney. She has won multiple titles during her tennis career including a first-place finish in doubles play at the 2019 USTA Junior National Tournament. In addition, Foshee is a 4-star recruit and is ranked 161 nationally in her recruiting class by the tennis recruiting network.
Foshee is the daughter of Ximena and Trey Foshee. She plans to major in environmental science or biology at Eastern Washington, with aspirations to continue her academic career in entomology (study of insects) and conservation.
