Pullman, Wash., - The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team moves to an overall record of 2-3 after falling 7-0 in today's match (Feb. 8) against Washington State at Hollingbery Fieldhouse in Pullman, Wash. The Eagles came close in a few singles match plays as they look to keep that same energy for next Saturday's home conference match against Idaho State.
"I'm pleased with the competitiveness we showed today. We were right there in a lot of sets and matches and
Renata Gabuzyan really brought her A-game being just a couple of points short of victory," said head coach
Dustin Hinson. "That was an impressive performance against a tough PAC-12 opponent. These matches really make us stronger as individuals and as a team and prepare us to face some tough conference matches coming up."
