CHENEY, Wash. – With the postseason and Big Sky Conference Tournament on the horizon, the Eastern Washington University women's basketball team will be playing in its final two regular season games this week.
On Wednesday, March 4, the Eagles head to Pocatello, Idaho, to play the Bengals at 6 p.m. Pacific time. Eastern will then go for the season sweep at Weber State, with a Friday, March 6, match-up also at 6 p.m. PT.

A LOOK AT THE EAGLES: Eastern Washington sits in 10
th place in the Big Sky with an overall record of 4-23 and a 3-15 mark in conference action. Five of Eastern's past games have been decided by 10 points or less.
Eastern Washington boasts three players in double figures, led by
Bella Cravens with 10.2 points per game.
Grace Kirscher and
Jenna Dick follow closely behind with 10.0 points per game.
Cravens has scored in double figures in six out of the last seven games. During that span, she has collected four double-doubles. The sophomore has scored over 20 points to go with double-digit rebound performances in two out of the last three games. She currently leads the Big Sky and ranks 83
rd in the nation with 8.6 rebounds per game.
On the defensive end, Cravens averages 1.80 blocks per game to rank 54
th nationally. As a sophomore, she has 94 career blocks which is already eighth all-time in program history.
Kirscher has scored in double figures in 12 games this season with 45 made three-pointers. Dick, who has already set a freshman record at Eastern Washington with 64 made three-pointers, ranks 11
th nationally in three-point percentage, draining 44.1 percent of her shots from deep. Fellow freshman
Kennedy Dickie adds 9.3 points per contest.
Jessica McDowell-White ushers Eastern's offense with 5.5 assists per game to lead the Big Sky and rank 18
th in the nation. She has 143 total assists this season which ties for 10
th all-time in program history for assists in a single season.
All season long, the Eagles have been steady behind the three-point line. As a team, they have made 215 which is the 45
th most in Division I. They make 8.0 per game, which is 32
nd.
A LOOK AT THE BENGALS: Idaho State enters Wednesday's game on a four-game winning streak. Most recently, the Bengals beat Portland State on the road last Thursday, 68-63, following a 71-55 win over Northern Colorado.
Idaho State averages 68.2 points per game and are second in the Big Sky in field goal percentage, draining 43.8 percent of its shots while only allowing opponents to make 36.8. The Bengals only make 6.7 three pointers per game, but drain 36.3 percent overall.
Three players average double figures for the Bengals in Callie Bourne (12.7), Dora Goles (12.3) and Estefania Ors (11.3).
SERIES HISTORY: Eastern Washington and Idaho State last met on Dec. 30, 2019 where the Bengals cruised to a 67-47 win over the Eagles in Cheney. It was the first meeting since EWU knocked Idaho State out of the Big Sky Conference quarterfinals a year ago in Boise in overtime.
The Eagles lead the all-time series with Idaho State, 39-37, but are only 14-21 all-time in Pocatello. Eastern has also won six out of the last 10 meetings.
A LOOK AT THE WILDCATS: Weber State sits below Eastern Washington in the conference standings with a 3-24 overall record and a 1-19 mark in Big Sky action. The lone conference win for Weber State came on Jan. 9 when the Wildcats picked up a 65-60 win at Northern Colorado. Since then, the Wildcats have dropped 14-straight.
Two players in Liz Graves (11.2) and Ula Chamberlin (10.4) average double figures, as Weber State averages 57.3 points per game.
SERIES HISTORY: Eastern Washington trails the all-time series against Weber State, 36-44, but have won two-straight. After the Eagles beat the Wildcats in the first round of the conference tournament, EWU hosted WSU on Dec. 28, 2019 to open Big Sky play in Cheney where they picked up a 63-53 win.
Jessica McDowell-White scored a career-high 19 points in the win, while
Grace Kirscher added 16.
Bella Cravens pulled down 12 rebounds to go with nine points as the Eagles only trailed for 27 seconds of the entire game.
Eastern has won eight out of the last 10 matchups. Since 2008, the Eagles have won nine out of 10 games in Ogden.
