Last season, Eastern Washington and Weber State split the regular season meetings, each picking up a win on their own home floors. The Eagles won 63-53 on Dec. 28 at Reese Court before falling in the final game of the regular season in overtime, 83-77 in Ogden, Utah where
Grace Kirscher scored a career-high 31 points and added seven rebounds.
EWU trails the all-time series with the Wildcats, 35-45, but have won seven out of the last 10 meetings and are 23-18 under head coach
Wendy Schuller. At Reese Court, the Eagles own a 21-16 all-time record over WSU.
After this week's games, the Eagles hit the road again – facing Southern Utah on back-to-back nights on Jan. 14 and 15 in Cedar City, Utah.
