FARMINGTON, Utah – Eastern Washington University golfer
Jaelin Ishikawa has earned a spot on the All-Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention team, as announced by the league this afternoon (April 16).
It is the first All-Big Sky honor of the junior's career, and the third-straight year an Eagle has represented Eastern Washington on an All-Conference team.
"This is a great honor for Jaelin," said head coach
Brenda Howe. "She has played consistent all spring and is very deserving of this honor."
Through 13 rounds of action this spring, Ishikawa led the Eagles with a 77.0 average with 1,001 total strokes. Her best round came at Eastern's final regular season tournament, the Bobcat Spring Invitational, where she shot a 72 in the final round to earn a top-20 finish at the event.

Her best two-round total came at the Bobcat Spring Invitational where she totaled 148 strokes for a career best two-round low. In all, she led the Eagles in three out of five regular season tournaments with two top-20 finishes, placing second on the squad in the other two.
In three years with the Eagles, the Makawao, Hawai'i native has a career average of 76.39. She's played in 56 total rounds with 4,278 strokes. She has notched three top-10 finishes and one top-five finish in her career, with a career low one-round score of 69 which was set at the Battle at Boulder Creek in the spring of 2019.
