MOLALLA, Ore. – The Eastern Washington University golf team finished in eighth place after the second day at the Big Sky Conference Championships at the Arrowhead Golf Club in Molalla, Ore. The Eagles shot six strokes lower than day one with 314 strokes to finish ahead of Montana State, Idaho State, and Montana with a total of 634 strokes in two rounds.
"Today was better and we created a little bit of a spread between us and some teams we were tied with.

Stephanie Chelack played well on a course that overall is just a tough course," said head coach
Brenda Howe. "They both had to scramble a little bit to salvage great scores. They really handled their emotions well today and it resulted in two solid scores."
The Eagles shot 11 strokes ahead of ninth place Montana and Idaho State and 23 strokes ahead of 11
th place Montana State.
Sacramento State takes the first place slot after shooting 304 strokes to total 602 while Northern Arizona trails in second place after shooting 309 strokes to total 605.
