RESULTS
MARICOPA, Ariz. – The Eastern Washington University women's golf team completed the Cowgirl Classic tied for 17th after shooting 946 (312, 312, 322) strokes at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz. The Eagles will compete in one more tournament on April 12-13 for the Bobcat Desert Classic hosted by Montana State, before beginning the Big Sky Conference Championships the following week.
The Eagles beat out Montana State by nine strokes as the Bobcats finished in 19th place shooting 955 (320, 317, 318) strokes.
New Mexico State finished the event in first place overall with 869 (285, 294, 290) strokes and Northern Arizona finished first amongst the Big Sky Conference schools competing with 916 (305, 302, 309) strokes to place 11th overall.
