Eastern Washington Football Coaches Show Returns Tonight

The first show is this evening live from the Roos Field Press Box and will move to Buffalo Wild Wings in Spokane next week

As a preview for the 2021 football season, Eastern Washington University football coaches show begin tonight (Aug. 30) and continue throughout the season.
 
The shows are hosted by Larry Weir and Paul Sorenson and include interviews from head coach Aaron Best. Other guests, including EWU players and assistant coaches, will also be featured along with other members of the EWU Athletic Department.
 
The radio show begins at 6 p.m. and may be heard on 700-AM ESPN, 105.3-FM, and via The Varsity Network mobile phone app. EWU football and men's basketball games may also be heard via those methods, with Weir beginning his 31st season as football play-by-play announcer this Thursday (Sept. 2) when the Eagles play at UNLV. Sorensen begins his 19th year as analyst.
 
Tonight's show will run live from the Roos Field Press Box with special guests, associate head coach and defensive coordinator, Eti Ena, and offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Ian Shoemaker, along with Best.
 
No fans will be able to attend tonight's show, but Eastern Washington is excited to have attendance at Buffalo Wild Wings on Mondays throughout the year, splitting between the Spokane Valley and Northtown Mall locations.
 
Information about the basketball coaches shows with newly-minted head coaches David Riley and Joddie Gleason will be available at a later date.
