EDEN, Utah. – The Eastern Washington University golf team began its fall season at the Kelsey Chugg Invitational in Eden, Utah., today (Sept. 20). After two rounds of competition, the Eagles sit in eighth place with 648 strokes, shooting 319 in the first round and 329 in the second round.
After scoring a 159, freshman
Kami Twining leads the charge for the Eagles for the first and second rounds.
Eastern is competing among eight other teams including WAC opponents Cal State Bakersfield and Dixie State, as well as Big Sky Conference foes Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Northern Colorado, Southern Utah and hosts Weber State.
