The Eastern Washington women's soccer will be hosting its last two Big Sky home matches this coming week. They will face off against Sacramento State (2-8-4) on Friday, October 14th at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. Next, Portland State (5-5-4) will be in town on Sunday, October 16th for a 1 p.m. start time.
Sunday's match against Portland State will be senior day, as the Eagles will honor five team members.

Kalista Kakou,
Brooke Flores and
Mya Elder-Hammond will be honored pre-game at EWU Soccer Field.
After traveling to Northern Arizona University and taking a tough 2-0 loss, the Eagles dropped down to fourth place with eight points and a 2-1-2 conference record and 5-6-4 overall. Eastern Washington is still in the top six to make it to the Big Sky conference Championship tournament.
EWU Insight:
In the Eagles last match versus NAU, they took a total of 12 shots with seven on goal and
Kamryn Willoughby collected 13 saves. Eastern averages one goal and 10.4 shots per game with a total of 156 shots taken on the season.
Gillian Martin led the Eagles with five shots and three on goal in the match against NAU.
Grace Terrill and
Chloe Pattison were right behind Martin as Terrill took three shots and Pattison took two shots and two on goal. Martin has taken 21 total shots for the Eagles and brought herself to second place for most shots behind
Maddie Morgan. Morgan leads in shots (28), points (9), and game winning goals (2). Pattison is tied with Morgan for first place with nine shots on goal this season.
Madison Kem is tied with Morgan for first with three total goals on the season.
Sac St. Insight:
Coming into Cheney to play Eastern Washington, the Hornets will be coming off a 1-0 loss to Idaho State. In its match against the Bengals, Sac St. took a total of 15 shots with one shot on goal, collected four total saves and was credited with five corner kicks. The Hornets are averaging 8.4 shots and 0.64 goals a game.
Katie Bessemer led the Hornets with four total shots taken as Madelyn Dougherty and Abigail Lopez took three. Aubrey Goodwill and Jasmyne Dunn each took two shots as Goodwill had the only shot on goal for Sac St. Goodwill also leads the Hornets in points (9) and goals (4) on the season. Lopez leads the team in assists (2) and shots (20) and is tied for first place with Goodwill with eight shots on goal.
The last time Sac St. met EWU was on October 10th of last year, as the Hornets hosted the Eagles and defeated them 4-2. Eastern Washington's overall program record against Sacramento was brought to 9-13-5 after its last game.
Portland State Insight:
Portland State will be coming in Eastern Washington with a two-match win streak and undefeated in conference play. In their last match, the Vikings won at home over Weber State 3-2. PSU had four saves, took a total of 13 shots with seven shots on goal and collected 13 fouls. Lucy Quinn, Raniyah Burton, and Ocean Rideout each had a goal for the Vikings. They are averaging 1.4 goals and 12 shots per game this season and have taken a total of 168 shots.
Abi Hoffman leads the Vikings in points (9), goals (4), and shots on goal (14) on the season. Hoffman is tied with Sienna Higinbotham for first place with a total of 25 shots taken.
In Portland State's last match against Eastern Washington, Eastern won 1-0 improving its program record against the Vikings to 14-12-2.
