CHENEY, Wash. — Eastern Washington announced today that Missy Strasburg has signed a contract extension that will keep her as head coach of the women's soccer program through the 2029 season.

Since taking over the program, Strasburg has led the Eagles with a strong commitment to competitive excellence, student-athlete development, and building a culture centered on accountability and success both on and off the field.

Under her leadership, the program has continued to grow and establish itself as a respected competitor within the conference and throughout the region, including back-to-back winning seasons.

Strasburg expressed gratitude for the continued support and opportunity to lead the program into the future.

"I am incredibly grateful and honored to have the continued support and belief of our athletic administration, Tim Collins, and President McMahan to lead EWU Women's Soccer for four more years," said Strasburg. "I am so blessed to work with our exceptional student-athletes and staff, past and present, and couldn't be more proud of everyone who has contributed so much to the growth and success of this program. Eastern Washington and Spokane County are my home, and I can't wait to show what the future holds for Eag Soccer!"

The extension reflects Eastern Washington's continued commitment to the long-term success and growth of the women's soccer program as it continues to build momentum under Strasburg's leadership.
