CHENEY, Wash. — The IWSOC announced that Eastern Washington soccer is ranked eighth in the West Region Coaches Poll, released in partnership with United Soccer Coaches, following the Eagles' 4-0 start to the season.
Eastern picked up a pair of road wins this past weekend, defeating UIC and Western Illinois to improve to 4-0 for the best start in program history.
Newcomer
Mia Miconi leads the Eagles offensively with three goals through four games.
Ella Hyde follows with two goals, while
Reese Kincaid and
Deanna Montero have each added one.
Payton Hyde leads the Eagles in goal with 24 saves.
The Eagles will look to keep their undefeated start rolling when they return home to face CSU Bakersfield on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. at the EWU Soccer Field.
